Few : An adjective that means small in numbers.

E.g : There were very few students present in school today.

Less : An adjective that means small in amount or degree.

E.g : Which bottle holds less water?

What happens when these words are mixed up???

There were very LESS students present in school today.

Which bottle holds FEW water?
